A group of queer women laughs as they reminisce about their shared experiences in the barbaric world of high school. Their budding divergence from popular styles and interests was decidedly not cool at the time and they confess the various ways they attempted to present as straight in order to fit in to mainstream culture. They’re rewriting what were likely scarring memories, finding camaraderie and humor imagining each other in Soffe shorts with three-times rolled waistbands.
